One hundred years, plus.
Personal experience in long-term recovery often creates a passion for serving others affected by problems with alcohol and other drugs. At Aquila Recovery Clinic, the combined recovery time of our leadership – more than 100 years – is focused on expanding the opportunity for recovery for each person in our care.
Historically, people with personal recovery experience largely staffed professional treatment facilities in America. Today, it’s often difficult for people in recovery to become professional counselors because of age or the inability to restart their educational careers. Subsequently, the majority of licensed addiction counselors do not bring personal experience in addiction or recovery.
Higher credentialing requirements bring advanced scientific practices to professional treatment, and we’re proud that our clinical staff meet these high standards. We are equally proud that, from our ownership to our peer-to-peer recovery coaches, we bring the passion that comes from personal recovery.
Clients beginning their journey with us will see others “walking the walk.”
We believe it makes a difference.
