Aquila Housing
Aquila Recovery’s improved Housing Program is on the cutting edge of recovery living. We favor a holistic approach to treatment. More often than not, recovering persons have been beaten down by co-occurring disorders, both substance use and mental health struggles. In the wake of their torment, many have been kicked out of their homes, lost their jobs, and in general lost their footing in the world around them.
That’s where Aquila Housing steps in to help. We provide safe and comfortable recovery housing environments to those persons who need to adjust back into their normal lives. We provide 24/7 staff coverage, a high-level constant accountability program, recovery community support, and holistic amenities. At the Allem House, residents take weekly meditation classes with a trained teacher on-site. Allem House residents also have access to transportation that takes them to their clinical groups and healthy snacks to keep them going throughout the day. We want our residents full, fit, happy, sober, and connected to their inner-selves and their communities.
In this country there are not enough transitional living environments available to serve the ever-growing population of persons suffering from substance use disorders. In the wake of a world-halting pandemic, we saw over 93,000 overdose deaths in 2020 and a 40%+ increase in behavioral health diagnoses the same year. The need for holistic recovery environments has never been greater. So here at Aquila, we made the decision to create a new recovery environment, one that serves the greatest number of people possible and meets them where they are: spiritually, mentally, and physically.
When it was time to find Allem House a home, we considered the importance of “home” to persons in recovery and realized that the critical common denominator to success is community. Home is where the heart is, and here is where the heart heals. We welcome you into the Aquila family, and look forward to walking the path to recovery together.
